MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Mount Hope, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and is connected to the appropriate support services tailored to their individual needs. We offer a range of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program that provides in-home support through messaging and clinician contact. Veterans looking to take charge of their weight can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-management. For those who require more intensive interventions, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to face challenges despite utilizing MOVE! services.
