The Family Nutrition Program, based in New Cumberland, WV, is dedicated to empowering limited-resource families, youth, and adults to enhance their health through practical nutrition education and physical activity initiatives. Our mission is to tackle obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic health issues by equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge. Through engaging programs rooted in the USDA's MyPlate and Dietary Guidelines, we offer hands-on food demonstrations, assist in maximizing food budgets, support menu planning, and promote label literacy.
