The Living With Type 2 Diabetes Program in New Cumberland, WV, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive, free, and bilingual (English and Spanish) education system. Over a 12-month journey, participants can engage with six informative e-booklets tailored to address their unique needs, alongside a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal resources and community event information. Enrollees can also join our engaging monthly Q&A series, where they have the opportunity to ask diabetes-related questions to experts, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and receive practical giveaways designed to enhance their journey towards better health management. Our mission is to empower individuals to thrive after their diagnosis by equipping them with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate life with diabetes effectively.
