Located in New Cumberland, WV, Wisewoman is dedicated to empowering low-income women aged 40 to 64 who are uninsured or underinsured by providing essential resources to improve their health and prevent chronic diseases. Our comprehensive program offers crucial services including height, weight, and blood pressure measurements, cholesterol and glucose testing, and follow-up visits for elevated results. We guide participants in setting realistic health goals while educating them on healthier lifestyle choices, such as improving nutrition, increasing physical activity, and quitting smoking. Additionally, we offer referrals to community resources that support the journey to better health.
