Located in Nitro, WV, MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through a comprehensive and personalized approach to weight management. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and offered a variety of tailored treatment options that align with their unique goals and preferences. Services include engaging group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which supports Veterans through in-home messaging and clinician contact. For those who prefer self-directed management, we provide the MOVE! Coach mobile app. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who have faced challenges even after participating in our program.
