The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Oak Hill, WV, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators focused on building a just food system. Supported by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this fellowship provides comprehensive training in organic food systems without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Our Fellows engage in a transformative six-month program, where they gain hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, exploring innovative practices such as diversifying crops, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Following their fellowship, participants lead a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to implement impactful food assistance programs, develop farmers markets, and promote healthy food access. We invite those passionate about fostering social, environmental, and economic justice to join us in our mission to strengthen community food systems throughout the region.
