Energy Express serves the children of Parkersburg, WV, by offering a transformative 6-week summer reading and nutrition program specifically designed for those in rural and low-income communities. Our mission is to help young learners maintain their reading skills during the summer break through engaging activities that incorporate art, drama, and vocabulary enhancement. In addition to enriching their minds, we ensure that children receive two nutritious meals daily, supporting both their physical health and academic growth. By joining us, families can access vital resources that strengthen our community and empower the next generation.
