MOVE! Weight Management Program, based in Poca, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and can access tailored treatment options that meet their individual needs. Offering a variety of support systems, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home guidance, we empower Veterans to take charge of their health. For those who prefer more independence, the MOVE! Coach mobile app provides convenient self-management tools. Additionally, we offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who require more intensive solutions after trying our initial programs.
