Emergency Meal Units, part of the Good News Community Kitchen in Ranson, WV, is dedicated to alleviating food insecurity for families in urgent need through our focused food assistance programs. Recognizing the critical nature of hunger, we provide essential emergency meal units that contain vital dry goods designed to meet basic nutritional requirements. Each unit includes a 1lb bag of rice, two cans of beans, and a 1lb package of whole grain oats, ensuring families receive nutritious options. For those experiencing food scarcity, we invite you to fill out our online form to request an emergency meal unit. Once registered, families will benefit from receiving these meal kits on a bi-weekly basis. A valid state-issued identification card is required to complete the application.
