The Healthy Grandfamilies Program in Ranson, WV, is a free and supportive initiative designed for grandparents raising grandchildren. Our mission is to empower caregivers with essential information and resources through engaging discussion sessions, where participants can connect, learn, and share their experiences. Each session offers childcare, refreshments, and a caring environment, making it easier for grandparents to attend. Graduates of the program receive a certificate and access to three months of follow-up services with a dedicated social worker, providing assistance in locating community resources, meeting unique family needs, and advocating for families as necessary.
