Wisewoman is dedicated to empowering low-income, uninsured, or underinsured women aged 40 to 64 in Ranson, WV, by providing essential resources to prevent and manage cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. Our comprehensive program offers vital services including height, weight, and blood pressure measurements, cholesterol and glucose testing, and personalized follow-up visits if needed. Alongside these health assessments, we work collaboratively with participants to set achievable health goals and provide education on making positive lifestyle changes, such as improving diet, enhancing physical activity, and quitting smoking. We also connect participants to local community resources that can further support their journey toward better health and wellness.
