Energy Express is dedicated to supporting children in Ravenswood, WV, through a transformative 6-week summer reading and nutrition program. Tailored for youth in rural and low-income communities, our initiative ensures that children not only keep their reading skills sharp during the summer months but also enjoy nutritious meals, with two healthy options offered daily. We employ engaging methods, including art, drama, and vocabulary-building activities, to create a vibrant learning environment that captivates and inspires the children we serve. Our mission is to empower young minds with the tools they need for academic success while promoting proper nutrition, fostering a sense of community, and enriching the lives of families in West Virginia.
