Located in Ripley, WV, Wisewoman is dedicated to empowering low-income and uninsured women aged 40 to 64 with the essential knowledge and support needed to enhance their health and prevent chronic diseases. Our program offers comprehensive services, including height, weight, and blood pressure measurements, as well as laboratory tests for cholesterol and glucose levels. We provide personalized follow-up visits for those with elevated results, helping participants set realistic health goals and make informed lifestyle choices. Through our educational resources, we assist women in quitting smoking, improving their diets, and increasing physical activity.
