The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program in Ripley, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of families in our community through essential services. As a vital federal nutrition initiative, WIC offers free nutrition counseling, education, and breastfeeding support, along with access to nutritious foods tailored to the needs of women, infants, and children. Serving nine counties in the western central part of West Virginia, the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department WIC program is committed to providing supplemental foods, promoting breastfeeding, and facilitating referrals for comprehensive health care.
