MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Romney, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is annually screened for obesity and connected to the right resources, including personalized weight management options that cater to individual preferences. We offer a variety of services, such as group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for convenient in-home support. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who need further assistance after engaging with MOVE! We invite Veterans interested in improving their health to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to learn how they can join our program and take the first step towards a healthier future.
