The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program, located in Ronceverte, WV, is a free resource designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Over the course of 12 months, participants are guided through essential diabetes management strategies in both English and Spanish. The program provides six informative e-booklets tailored to help individuals navigate their new diagnosis, along with a monthly e-newsletter that shares seasonal tips and local community event information. Additionally, enrollees who provide their phone number can join our monthly Ask the Experts Q&A series, where they can directly pose questions to American Diabetes Association experts, learn about the connection between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy valuable giveaways aimed at supporting their journey towards better health. We are dedicated to empowering those living with diabetes in our community through education and support.
