The Women, Infant and Children Supplemental Food Program (WIC) in Salem, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to foster healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education, the provision of supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding support. We also connect families with essential healthcare services. In addition, through the WIC Immunization Coordination Effort (WIC-ICE), we offer free immunizations for eligible children, ensuring their early health needs are met with care and compassion.
