MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Shady Spring, WV, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that all Veterans receiving care at VA facilities are screened annually for obesity, with personalized referrals to suitable weight management options that cater to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of tools including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, the innovative TeleMOVE! for in-home support, and the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those who prefer self-guided weight management. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with their weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
