Located in South Charleston, WV, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute is dedicated to training and empowering individuals to become advocates for a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Throughout a comprehensive six-month experiential learning phase at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, selected Fellows collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to expand access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and mentor future Fellows. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship running from May to October.
