The Healthy Grandfamilies Program, located in South Charleston, WV, is a free and supportive initiative designed specifically for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren. Our program offers essential information, resources, and community connection through engaging discussion sessions, while also providing childcare and refreshments for attendees. Upon completing the program, participants receive a certificate and three months of follow-up services that include personalized assistance from a social worker to help navigate community resources, address unique family needs, and access advocacy services as required.
