Wisewoman is dedicated to supporting low-income and uninsured women aged 40 to 64 in South Charleston, WV, by equipping them with essential knowledge and skills to enhance their health and well-being. Our mission focuses on preventing and managing cardiovascular and chronic diseases through comprehensive health services, including body measurements, cholesterol and glucose screenings, and personalized follow-up consultations. We guide participants in setting achievable health goals, offer education on healthier lifestyle choices such as nutritious eating and increased physical activity, and connect women with local resources to foster lasting change.
