Energy Express is dedicated to uplifting children in Spencer, WV, through a transformative 6-week summer reading and nutrition program designed for those in rural and low-income communities. Our mission is to combat summer learning loss by engaging children with innovative and enjoyable activities that incorporate art, drama, and vocabulary, ensuring they maintain their reading skills during the break. In addition to stimulating educational experiences, we provide nutritious meals to support the health and wellbeing of every child, offering two balanced meals per day.
