Located in Spencer, WV, the Family Nutrition Program is dedicated to empowering limited-resource families, youth, and adults to enhance their health and well-being through comprehensive nutrition education and food assistance. Our mission is to tackle critical health issues such as obesity, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes by promoting healthy lifestyle choices. We achieve this by teaching families to utilize the USDA's MyPlate and Dietary Guidelines, offering engaging food demonstrations, and enhancing access to local community resources.
