Located in Williamstown, WV, Wisewoman is dedicated to empowering low-income, underinsured women aged 40 to 64 to lead healthier lives. Our mission centers on providing essential resources and education to help prevent, manage, and control cardiovascular and other chronic diseases. Through comprehensive services, we offer height, weight, and blood pressure measurements, as well as lab tests for cholesterol and glucose. Women are invited to follow up on their health status, set achievable wellness goals, and receive guidance on making improved lifestyle choices, including diet and physical activity. We also connect participants with local resources to further support their journey towards better health and well-being. Wisewoman is committed to nurturing a healthier community, one woman at a time.
