There must be a reason you cheated on him you might have not loved him the way you thought you did but you don't have to hate yourself instead spend time on realising what you really want and with time you find yourself moving on or realizing your mistakes in the relationship you may feel fustrated and angry with your self at first
But you need to ask yourself how you really felt about him and if cheating on him was really a mistake
Don't hate yourself nothing good comes from that
Rather take time to discover and recover yourself

if he’s really not willing to get back with you, i think the only thing to do is to move on. take some time out to just do what you like and cry as much as you want to help you move on and be happy again

If you don’t address the reasons you were unfaithful to begin with, you might not be able to get him back or move on successfully.
You said you hate yourself’. Does that sound like a person who is ready to either mend the relationship or move onto another one? Isn’t it possible that a person with a negative self image would either consciously or unconsciously sabotage the relationship?
Nobody can be happy, as far as I know, when they say they hate themselves. A negative self image reflects on everyone in your life. Don’t the people in your life deserve the best version of you that you can make?
Anyway, I hope why answer helped a little bit. Self-hate is an extremely strong negative issue in many peoples lives. I hope that you can find a way to embrace yourself, mistakes and all.
