Budget your time wisely. Don't do things last minute (like I sometimes slip into doing), because planning things out beforehand and actually executing things as planned will help you get your schoolwork done quickly leaving you time to spend freely with your family.

It's all about balancing time. You get home from school after a long day and do all your schoolwork and sit with your family for dinner. Take that dinner time as a good hour to chat and connect to your family members. If you have to stay after school for sports or other extracurricular activities you are involved in, then it is a given that you would get home later than usual and you would be exhausted and would want to just hit the bedroom and get some rest. This makes the weekends handy since the weekends would be good for spending time with family.

I believe a great way to find balance between school and family is to involve them into your school/studies. For example, ask questions, ask for help, teach them something, etc...

School is always important just as family. School does require more attention because it will help define your future. Make sure your family supports you as you focus on your studies. If that's not working, step back and breath. Assess your situation and take each task one at a time. Address what needs attention first.

Maybe One could say "after 6 o'clock in the afternoon there is school not a subject anymore" or there are Family days with activities on sunday, and the Family would eat their meals together.

Work hard in school and do your best, but take breaks from time to time. Spend your breaks with family and friends. You can also mix the two. Ask your family to work with you in school.

School can be very stressful. I’m not sure if I know a single person who would disagree. Taking the time to separate yourself from those stressors in life and doing something enjoyable out with family is a good way to keep the balance. It also will help stabilize your mental health because you will be distracting yourself from the pressure and stress of school. The hardest part about this will be realizing when you’re getting too stressed from school. Maybe just taking a quick break to have a snack with your family will help minimize this. Also a good tip would be to do your homework with family so you can fulfill that quality family time while still being productive.

The best way to find a balance between school and family is by establishing a schedule and prioritize that schedule based on the order of importance. Both school and family are important and we require both to be happy and healthy. Maintaining a schedule and specific tasks to perform according to that schedule will allow us to ensure both are a part of our lives. An example would be to ensure we "go" to school at a normal time like 8 to 3 for example, but if we get up early we can make breakfast with the family then log on. Or we can play catch or go on a walk after 3.
