AI lacks deep emotional understanding and cannot provide personalized long-term care. The best approach is to use AI mental health tools as a supplement rather than a replacement, combining them with human support when needed. For example, if I use Noni on 7 Cups, I also prefer a real human listener and have been using the group chats as well. AI is a temporary solution and can be great for a quick chat, tips and related information just like a web search. However, relying on it to help you overcome deeper complex issues isn't probably right in my opinion.

It depends on what kind of mental health condition or state the person is in. While it is great for any short term issues a person may be facing, AI is definitely not equipped to act as a professional therapist who would not only diagnose you were you have to have a disorder, but it also would not be able to offer the support that a person with an actual mental health condition would need.
