About

Well done for taking this step to improve your emotional health and increase your quality of life. Talking with a trusted professional is an important way to gain support, find insight and develop ways to move forward from a difficult place.

I am caring, open to all of life's difficulties and hope to build a trusting and compassionate relationship with you. I do not believe that problems can be solved by diagnosing and labelling people. Instead I value the powerful talking relationship and seek to empower people through our relationship to make changes for themselves.

We often develop 'blindspots' in our own lives that prevent us from seeing how our own behaviour patterns or attitudes might be somehow contributing to the problem. This is where a trusted professional can help you to gain some much needed perspective and offer a way out of your dilemma or difficult feelings.

My therapeutic approach is existential, which means that I am interested in the ways that a particular difficulty can make sense in the context of your whole attitude and approach to life. I am interested in exploring and helping you to understand the wider issues that might be influencing your perspective on a situation. Together we can explore the issue in a deep and meaningful way so that you can truly make changes in your life and break old patterns and habits that might be holding you back.

She’s very good and attentive
Always fantastic. This is my second time returning to speak with Tara. Incredibly insightful therapist. If you're looking for someone to challenge you, and help you uncover new pathways, then Tara is the one to work with!
This has been a good start.
Wonderful so far
Dr. Tara is the most helpful therapist I have ever had the pleasure of speaking with. Her empathy, nonjudgmental nature, and openness about every topic (let alone her ability to stick with me throughout my tangents) is honestly incredible. I would recommend Dr. Tara to anyone dealing with a range of complex issues; she does not disappoint. Thank you for everything you do ❤️❤️
