Waking Up with Anxiety

...See more Hi, For about the past month, I wake up every morning with my heart rate elevated and a case of the jitters, like my body is on high alert. Sometimes it will last only 10-15 minutes, other times it can last a few hours. Once it goes away I am fine for the rest of the day but the cycle continues once I go to bed and wake up the next day. I feel like I am almost to the point of feeling normal again after a year dealing with GAD and learning how to control it. I dont know why this has been happening and I really want it to stop. I feel frustrated with my mind and body and I just want my old self back.

...See more I'm going to a hockey game tonight and it is finally back to pre March 2020. I'm so excited but because I can't wait I feel my anxiety just below the surface. I know its just adrenaline but I don't like feeling out of control.
