Bear's Personal Statement 📄

My goal is to pay it forward: I am grateful for the support I received from listeners and for the support I provide for members through this innovative platform. After chats with listeners, I was given clarity, hope and joy. After chats with members, I discovered purpose, fulfillment and value for myself. From both perspectives, I found reasons to pay it forward. There's a positive cycle and a symbiotic relationship between listeners and members where both benefit from supportive conversations. Members rely on support from listeners to overcome challenges and listeners rely on members to develop a greater sense of self worth. Whether you're reaching out for support or you're providing support to someone else, you as well as the other person are walking away with something greater! By pledging to pay it forward and remembering how much I appreciate what I've gotten from 7 Cups, I hope to inspire others to pay it forward as well and to continue the positive cycle. My goal is to be a supportive pillar for members through formal conversations or through casual conversations. Formal conversations prioritize emotional support and active listening. Casual conversations welcome lighthearted chats about everyday interests and ideas. I also aspire to take on leadership roles such as Quality Mentor to support my fellow listeners too. To develop as a listener, I've undergone verification, graduated from the Quality Listening Program and started the internship program on 7 Cups.
