I have no friends and I don't know what to do...

...See more This is kind of an embarrassing post but, I don't know how to make friends, and I feel so alone. I live in a small town (the closest Walmart is 20 minutes out of town), and my house is far away from other houses. Along with that, I do online school, so realistically I have no way to make friends. My parents tell me to just go knock on a neighbor's door and see if they have kids my age, but they don't realize that's not really how making friends works these days. I've had such little interaction with people for the last three years, that I don't even know what friendship feels like anymore. In elementary I had extremely deep bonds with multiple people, (I'm a sophomore now) but ever since we moved I forgot what that feels like. I can't hang out around anyone without feeling hyper-aware of how I look, act, talk, etc. I can't even be comfortable enough with someone to become friends with them. I'm so socially stunted, and I'm not sure what to do, my social skills are still that of a sixth grader. I have ONE in-person class, and I feel like it's my last hope, but I also don't know how to bring that relationship outside of the classroom if I succeed in making a friend. How do I get someone to hang out with me outside of that one school class? And without making it awkward? How do I make friends in my situation? Any tips are GREATLY appreciated.  P.S. I don't have a phone, so I'm not sure if that might make it harder to communicate outside of a classroom with others if I want to potentially hang out.
