...See more Dalaa friend @Reinventdefiance  gave the idea and here is the poem 💕✨  Zombie Utopia 🙂 The sirens died three summers ago, the billboards burned themselves to ash, and somewhere beneath the broken neon someone spray painted: WE’RE STILL HERE The dead walk freely now not hungry, not hunting, just wandering through streets where nobody owns a thing anymore No bosses No borders No clocks screaming hurry up Just busted speakers on rooftops, punk songs shaking the windows, and zombies dancing badly under a violet sky We wear safety pins through our jackets, paint stars across our faces, and trade cigarettes for stories at the end of the world The supermarkets are empty, but the gardens are growing wild's The rich lost their castles The poor lost their fear And every night, we light bonfires in the ruins while the undead sit beside us, quietly remembering what it meant to be alive Maybe this is the apocalypse Maybe this is freedom Maybe the world had to die before we finally learned how to live So turn the amp up Let the zombies scream along Tomorrow can burn tonight, we dance 🧟‍♀️🎸🖤

...See more Maybe I’m tired of being brave, 🫥 tired of carrying what I cannot save 🥀 Tired of saying “I’ll be okay” when I’ve been breaking every day 💔  So maybe I’ll stomp Just for tonight 🌙 Let the world keep turning 🌎 without me trying to make it right I’ll put down the weight I was never meant to hold, 🖤 let my hands become empty, let my heart grow cold ❄️ Maybe giving up doesn’t always mean goodbye. 🌧️ Maybe sometimes it means I’m finally too tired to lie 🫠 So I’ll breather 🌬️ I’ll be still 🕯️ I’ll let the tears come without fighting them 😢 And tomorrow if tomorrow asks me to try again, 🌅 maybe i won’t  Not because I’m fearless Not because I’m healed 🩹 Just because somewhere beneath all this exhaustion, a tiny part of me still wants to see what comes next 🖤✨ good night everyone

...See more Nobody Notices I disappear a little every day and nobody notices I talk I laugh I stay around but somehow I’m always somewhere else I wish someone would look at me and ask what’s wrong not because I look sad but because they know me well enough to notice when I’m not myself Sometimes I wonder if I stopped talking how long it would take for someone to realize Maybe loneliness isn’t having nobody Maybe it’s having people around you and still feeling like nobody would choose you

“Don’t Blame the Girl” 🥀

...See more She sits alone beneath the light Trying to make it through the night Her parents say it’s all her fault For every tear and every thought She whispers softly I’m so tired Of carrying what they’ve required She never wanted to hurt anyone She only wished the pain would run And she says Don’t blame the girl who’s falling down She’s been trying hard to stand her ground Don’t call her weak for losing sight She’s been fighting every night She dreams of somewhere far away A quiet place beyond today Where no one asks her why she cries Where she can rest without disguise They see the tears but miss the pain They see the storm and blame the rain And every word they throw her way Makes her feel smaller every day And she says Don’t blame the girl who’s falling down She’s been trying hard to turn around Don’t call her broken let her be She’s still searching for a way to breathe Maybe someday she’ll understand She never had to carry all of that Maybe someone will hold her near And tell her she is welcome here So let the girl put down the blame Let someone see beyond her pain She’s more than every scar and tear She’s still here She’s still here 🥀🖤

...See more Dalaa always chose the bed near the window Every morning the hospital woke her before the sun did The machines began their quiet beeping and the dialysis machine beside her started doing its work She would stare through the window and watch people walking outside Friends laughing together Families carrying bags of food Children running beside their parents And Dalaa would wonder what it felt like to have a normal morning She was tired of hospitals Tired of needles Tired of pretending she was okay when someone asked her Are you feeling better today She always smiled and said yes But when everyone left the smile disappeared At night the room became quiet Too quiet Dalaa would turn toward the window and whisper to herself I wish someone would stay Not because they felt sorry for her Not because they had to Just because they wanted to One night she watched the moon shining through the glass Her eyes filled with tears She placed her hand against the cold window and whispered Maybe tomorrow will hurt a little less The machine continued to hum beside her And for the first time that night Dalaa let herself cry Not because she had given up But because somewhere deep inside there was still a tiny part of her hoping that one day someone would sit beside her hold her hand and remind her that she was more than her illness She was Dalaa And she was still here

Title: “The Kingdom of Everlight”

...See more Once upon a time, in a land bathed in golden sunlight and perfumed by flowers that never wilted, there lay a kingdom known as Everlight. It was a realm where dreams seemed to come alive, where laughter echoed in the hills and music floated through the air like pollen on the wind. Birds sang lullabies to newborns, and the rivers whispered secrets to those who dared to listen. At the heart of this radiant kingdom stood a magnificent castle of white marble, glowing with the kiss of dawn. There lived Princess Amara, the only child of King Theron and Queen Lysandra. Amara was beloved not only for her beauty, which rivaled the morning sun, but for her kindness, courage, and a laugh so bright it was said to heal even the weariest heart. She grew up chasing butterflies in the royal gardens and climbing trees to speak to the whispering winds. Her best friend was a young stable boy named Elias, a boy with eyes the color of stormy skies and a soul full of stories. Despite their different stations, Amara and Elias were inseparable. They shared dreams beneath starlit skies and made promises carved into oak bark that they would always be there for each other. The kingdom thrived. Crops flourished, people danced in the squares, and every year the skies painted themselves with rainbow hues during the Festival of Lights. It seemed as if nothing could ever darken Everlight. But as with all things in life, light casts shadows. ⸻ One fateful day, a mysterious traveler arrived at the kingdom’s gates. Clad in a cloak darker than midnight and speaking with a voice like cracked ice, she called herself Morwenna. She offered a gift to the King and Queen — a crystal orb said to show one’s deepest desire. Tempted, they peered inside. No one knows what they saw, but from that moment on, fear grew in their hearts like rot in a tree. They became obsessed with keeping the kingdom safe. The gates were sealed. Foreigners were turned away. Curfews were enforced. Even magic, once celebrated, was outlawed. The once-open hearts of Everlight’s rulers began to close. Amara tried to speak to them, but they brushed her away with cold eyes. “You are young,” they told her. “You do not understand the world’s dangers.” She turned to Elias, but he, too, had changed. The boy who once dreamed of faraway lands now worked tirelessly under new, harsh laws. He avoided her gaze and stopped meeting her beneath their tree. One night, desperate to make sense of it all, Amara snuck into the castle’s tower and found the crystal orb. Inside it, she saw a kingdom on fire, a future consumed by darkness. Her parents, she realized, were trying to prevent this vision — but in doing so, they had already begun to create it. Horrified, she fled with the orb in hand, seeking out the one person she knew could help — Elias. But when she found him, he turned her away. “I cannot help you anymore,” he whispered, eyes full of sorrow. “You are the princess. I am no one. We belong in different worlds.” Heartbroken, she wandered into the Forbidden Woods, a place whispered of in bedtime stories. There, she met Morwenna again — only now, the cloak had fallen, revealing her true form: an old sorceress, exiled centuries ago by Amara’s ancestors. “This kingdom feared magic,” she said, “and so they buried it. But you, child, carry the last flame.” Amara fell to her knees, the crystal orb clutched to her chest. “What do I do? I tried to fix everything, but I failed.” Morwenna placed a hand on her shoulder. “You must choose, Amara. Save the kingdom by sacrificing yourself… or let it fall to ruin while you run from your fate.” ⸻ Amara returned to the castle that night, cloaked in moonlight. The next morning, the people of Everlight awoke to find a strange silence in the air. The crystal orb had shattered. Magic had returned to the land. The gates opened. But Princess Amara was gone. No one knew where she had gone, though some claimed to see her face in the moonlight or hear her laughter in the wind. Others say she became part of the magic itself, keeping the balance between light and dark. As for Elias, he became the Keeper of the Grove, tending the tree where he and Amara had once carved their promise. He never married. Never left. Every evening, he sat by the tree and whispered stories to the stars. The kingdom slowly healed. But it was never as bright as it once was. And sometimes, in the quietest hours before dawn, the people of Everlight would close their eyes and remember the princess who loved too deeply, the boy who lost her, and the light that came from sorrow. ⸻ The End. Or perhaps… just the beginning of another kind of tale.
