Does anyone else randomly become paranoid?

...See more Sometimes, for no reason, my brain snaps. So hypothetically, I'm having a fun time with friends, then all of a sudden, everything seems very real. You immediately become aware of your surroundings. Sometimes this comes with an intrusive thought. Common ones are "one day I'll die" and "what if I'm the only consious person here and everyone else is an illusion". When this happens, it feels like time stops. I then sometimes become slightly paranoid at these thoughts and start dissociating with everything. It doesn't last long and doesn't effect me strongly, but I get just get extremely paranoid about things like this sometimes. Does it have a name?

...See more It is dogs and sleep. For sleep, I'm scared about having nightmares. For dogs, no matter what (on lead or off, big or small) I find them terrifying. If an off lead dog runs up to me, I practically hyperventilate. Does anyone share any of these phobias?
