...See more I tried posting this earlier and it didn’t work so I hope this isn’t a repeat. my live in boyfriend of 3 years is awful to me. He has a lot of mental health issues, endured a lot of trauma as well, but refuses to get help. He verbally abuses me but denies it. He yells at me everyday. If I ask him how work was, he says I’m being invasive and I ask too many questions. It’s a one sided relationship for sure. I wait on him hand and foot, borrow money if needed so he has everything the needs, then when he has money and I have needs, I’m called a stupid bi**h as he angrily gives me what I need. He has cheated on me, we lost a baby together, and he blames me for not trusting him. We are facing homelessness now. I need a job but anything I get lined up, he finds a way to sabotage it. I try a factory, he says I can’t do a man’s job. I find one that requires a commute, and it’s not reasonable yet it’s ok for him to commute. This is a brief description of everything. I want him to get help-I see his potential-but he refuses. If I express any unhappiness and desire for change, he threatens suicide. It feels like I’m trapped because I have to take his nasty words and treatment or he kills himself. How do I get him to get help?

...See more I’ve been in a relationship for almost 3 years. It’s been mostly bad. He has cheated, we lost a baby, now we’re facing homelessness. He is mean to me. He is selfish. He is verbally abusive, but denies it. He yells at me a lot. I want it to get better but it can’t if I’m the only one trying. If I suggest living separately, or breaking up, he threatens suicide. Typing it out, I feel awful. I really love him and I see his potential, he needs help though. He has been through a lot of trauma, as I have, so it’s impossible to give up on him. How can I live peacefully? How can I convince him to get help?
