...See more Hi everyone, I'm new to 7 cups and wanted to say hi. I'm 38, single and live alone. I've had longer term relationships in the past, but have been single for 6 years. I have depression and this makes it harder for me to get out there and socialise. I feel pretty lonely and isolated at the moment, and not sure what I need to do to feel better about my life.  In my darker days, I worry that I've really messed up my life. I've kind of accepted I might never have a partner again, but then what do I do? How do I fill my time, with no partner or family?

...See more Hi everyone,  I'm brand new to 7 cups and wanted to introduce myself on this thread.  I'm 38, single and live alone. I live in a different town from family and friends and that makes me feel more lonely.  I've had depression on and off since I was 12-probably. I've always felt a melancholy about the world and while I have much better months and even years-right now I'm really struggling. I have a separate issue with Body Dysphoria but I want to come on here and meet other people experiencing depression. I feel like I'm becoming more insular, more in my own head and unable to connect with people. I just want to feel happier again and it's a real struggle to get through each day
