...See more Thank you doesn't seem like enough for all the prayers, hugs, crossed fingers, crossed toes, and kind words that everyone gave me while I waited for my husband's skin cancer surgery. It was today and was a success. They only needed to remove one layer to get all the cancer. I will be forever thankful for all of you. I couldn't have made it without you ❤️

The surgery was today and successful. They only needed to remove one layer to get all the cancer. I couldn't have made it through this without all of you. I will be forever grateful. ...See more In 11 hours my husband will undergo surgery for skin cancer. If you have read any of my threads you know I am very nervous about this. Please pray, send good vibes, keep your fingers crossed, whatever you do to send good karma that everything will be done tomorrow, the surgery will be successful and there won't be any damage to tissue, nerves, bone, etc. Thank you. I find it comforting that I can write about my worries in time of anxiety and those in this community will be kind, supportive, non-judgmental and help me find peace. You are the best!!

May God have ALL the cancer removed with no damage to tissue, nerves, bones. etc. Also if you can please pray that I find peace. A hot mess

...See more My husband is having Mohs Surgery on Friday for Nodule Basal Cell Skin Cancer. Anything medical or dental is a trigger for my anxiety. I am one hot mess. He should be staying calm and keeping his mind off the surgery but I just make things worse. There are times I feel at peace and know the surgery will leave him cancer free. But as the surgery gets closer I have had more meltdowns. My worst enemies are my racing thoughts and Google. I keep thinking learning more will help my racing thoughts, but Google seems to give the worst case scenario with conflicting info. I am going to use my willpower to stay off Google and hopefully the bad things I read about will leave my mind. If you feel comfortable please pray for him that he will be cancer free after the surgery.

...See more I wonder what fills the mind of people without anxiety. While my mind has racing, negative thoughts what are they thinking about that keeps them calm and positive?? I also wonder in times of high anxiety is it better to hang out with others who worry/have anxiety too or those who keep saying, "stop worrying" which is annoying.
