...See more I almost envy those who believe suicide is a weak way out. Only because that means they've never had to experience the things that give you the knowledge to understand why it isn't weak at all.  I am actually happy for that though, I'm glad they still have that bit of ignorance that is so bliss.  That's the difference though, most suicidal people lost that bliss long ago.  Knowledge is power, but sometimes that power is too great. It has the capacity to make you stronger if you can carry it, but it can be so heavy it can crush you just the same.  You never know what someone may be carrying, and you can never judge the weight for anyone else.  A feather to you may be an anvil for them. And what if they already had 100 anvils and that last feather was just too much to carry?  That doesn't make someone weak, it means they were tired of being strong and couldn't bear anymore weight.   Stay strong, push your limits as much as you can, but... instead of calling someone weak, maybe lend them some of your strength if you see them struggling.

...See more I've always been a bird, but never one to stay in a cage.  At most you can clip my wings.. but leave me free range.  I've grown these feathers back, time and time again.  I've been kept caged, and I won't ever do it again. If I choose to stay aground, it's a choice that's mine alone, but if you clip my wings with force.. you've chosen to steal my feathers, my only true possession, the only freedom I own. So, if I want to fly, you should never stop my dreams.. a bird that's well kept can be trusted not to flee, but flying and fleeing aren't the same..  Please let me take my flights and learn to appreciate my wings.. Because birds with clipped feathers, caged, or planted on the ground, almost always want to flee,  instead of flying home. Because if home is a place I'm not permitted feathers, or trusted to fly around, I'd rather flee, or be planted underground.

...See more You're a soft landing after a hard hit and I've never known how to let myself lay down. I'm used to the feeling of low blows, and I never could just "stay down."  You're the armor I've been missing, a real knight wielding a protective layer of kisses. I've only known bare knuckled brawls and war before you.  I never thought I'd willingly wave a white flag and retreat, but you are the first person I don't want to fight the urge to surrender to.  You're the victory on the other end of a battlefield and I would rather run to you, but instead I'm dragging what's left of me on my shield.  Bruised and battered, I come to you, and find myself in awe that you choose to heal these wounds with the most gentle hands. You're a victim of shrapnel, I know you've been shot down too... but you bandage me up and show me a love that can only be described as bulletproof. I hope I can be a tourniquet for your heart and fade away what's bruised. I want our last fight to be the one I win but in the end you win too.

...See more I do everything in life, wholeheartedly. To some it may look half-hearted.. But you have to understand that I'm only working with about a half of a heart. You see, when you've put your entire heart into everything you've done.. you're bound to lose some pieces along the way. They say heartbreak, as if it just cracks in two, when really it's more like a shattering. A tiny crack that spiderwebs into more. Each little heart ache takes a piece. A shard. A little sliver of a heart that was once whole. Eventually, you run so low on pieces that you don't have much left to give, and still.. I put my whole heart into whatever I do.. so it may be half hearted to you, but to me... it's all I've got left.
