...See more I've been shunned by my classmates at high school and my parents... well, they're not the most understanding people. And my dad is insanely short-tempered. Honestly, living with him can feel like living on a time-bomb. It feels like... I've been getting myself acquainted to detecting and sensing and predicting any symptoms of him setting off the fuse... And live is high school SUCKED. Sometimes my ex-classmates would purposely trigger my anxiety by doing stuff that sets me off-- sneezing really loudly, banging the table, etc. So I kinda learn to predict these instances... in a way, I thought like, if I came up prepared, I wouldn't be triggered as badly... and that just makes it worse. I'd be anxious every. Single. Moment. Don't know WTH I'd have done if I were seated on the front row. Now I'm in college.. I'm still not on talking terms with my dad. I still get anxious whenever I sense unfamiliar eyes on me. And I think, most critically, I get these headaches whenever I'm stressed out... which makes me even more anxious. I'd think things like, 'what's happening to me?? Am i getting enough oxygen? Do i just forget to breathe whenever i get anxious? Oh gosh, it isn't getting any easier... and now i'm feeling light-headed.. it feels like my head is gonna explode!!!' Having social anxiety really sucks if you're a student or if you're working. How do you work through it? (You are one brave soul!)
