...See more Hi guys, Im a 22F Idk if this app or Internet is bugging but tried to post this already but idk 🙃 I suppose id just like to hear what some real addicts think of my situation, any type of response is appreciated. I think I'm fine but I just want a second opinion. Ive never had a problem with weed or alcohol, I don't have an addictive personality with anything, tbf I like uppers more then downers but its not like it'd be every day or anything. I took my first drug when I was 16 but didn't start taking it frequently until I was like 20, and since it then it's been kinda creeping up on me I suppose. I only take stuff when I'm out raving I don't really take stuff any other time and so I have friends that do the same but theres been a few times that even they've looked at me funny. I realize I take more then most of them and more frequently and the ones that have been on my level have admitted some type of problem or that they need a break. I think I do need a break because it's just been every week or every second week at least and I'm pretty heavy on the bag when I do go out. The doctors even prescribed me a 6 month prescription for a nasal spray because I'm in so often. I have missed work a lot too. This week has been hard, I don't feel bad I just feel nothing, but I think I like that part too, but I haven't even showered all week and after work I've just been resting with nothing going on in my head so productiveness is suffering but I don't know if that's just me or the drugs. There has been a few times in the past, only like 3 times ever that I've just felt so awful going to bed that I just wanted to feel okay and took some stuff just to feel good but it's not a habit at all so you can't deem it a problem. Uppers are so harsh on the body I don't think I could even make myself do it every day so I think I'm good and the high is definitely not what it used to be. I think i should maybe just cut down and learn how to go out to things where I don't take drugs and learn how to have a good time without it. But that feels boring and unfamiliar so I don't know what to do without drugs but it's not what it used to be. Thank you if you took the time to read! I'm starting a few sessions of therapy in the new year and I don't know if it's worth bringing up, they'll probably just tell me to quit altogether but I don't see that happening either, but I think I need to cut down

...See more Hi guys, I'm a 22F and just looking for a bit of advice I'll just dish it all out I guess any type of response is appreciated. I started raving a few years ago and it felt like everything to me, I took my first drug, ecstasy when I was 16 but then didn't start taking it frequently until I was like, 20, I moved out of home and started raving and got connected, and at the beginning I'd only take stuff when I'm out at raves, and I guess I still do beside the odd time. But I just go to raves so frequently, the last couple of weeks it's just been every single weekend and I'm pretty heavy on the bag every time too. I have friends who do the same so it's so normalised but I suppose what shook me is when I realised I take more then my friends and more frequently then my friends to the point even they started to look at me funny. I have a bad immune system too and I seem to get sick all the time but my nose has been suffering and the doctor has even prescribed me a 6 month prescription for a nasal spray to pick up just so I won't be going into him so much for treatment. Idk this past week has been hard, I haven't showered all week and I feel like I can't feel anything other than numb and like there's nothing going on in my head other then being tired and I can't seem to make myself do anything. Getting high doesn't even, it's not the same anymore and doesn't even hit close to what it was at the beginning, but I just don't know what else to do I guess I need to learn how to go out and have fun without getting high but that doesn't appeal to me either. There's been a few times in the past where I was struggling and I would just feel so awful going to bed that I would take a bit of something just so I wouldn't feel so bad. I havent done that since and it's not a habit. Im starting a few sessions of therapy in the new year, I don't really know why I'm just so out of it, I just wonder if it's worth bringing up, I know they're just gonna tell me to stop but I don't think I'm going to stop completely any time soon but maybe I need to cut down. To any real addicts should I be concerned?
