...See more Hiya...so last night was one of the worst nights of 2026 so far. (Trigger Warning) : I had horrible nightmares that stemmed from smth that happened at home Idk if it is ok to say this here but I've been SA'd in the past and I live with my family right now but even though the "worst SA" experience wasn't from their end, I still got triggered because there's some level of SA that happened from their end in the past (i won't go in detail for everyone's benefit). I'll just say that I don't feel very safe in my house but I dont have the money to just leave and live somewhere else. Anyway, I was in shock and couldn't sleep but i tried a lot of grounding techniques and it was already 8 am by the time I finally fell asleep. I ended up getting horrible nightmares where I was getting abused and kidnapped. And I obviously woke up with a lot of distress and anxiety. I have spent a lot of time trying to tell myself that I will be okay but I don't think I'm able to believe it yet. I am new to the city that I'm currently in, and it's a small town filled with judgemental aunties and creepy men. There's no where to go on my own, and home isn't very friendly either. Im not able to meet anyone who I can get along with, and I've ended up isolating myself even more. Because I don't want creepy men to stare at me when I leave home. I love socialising in real life but also while gaming etc. Im not sure how can I reduce this isolation and increase my sanity here. I've no idea how I will survive here till I find a way to leave / get a job. Which will take a lot of time. I am trying to find volunteering opportunities but that also won't happen for few good months. Im going insane and there's no funds for therapy. I know this is a lot to read i can't even tell u how much it is to live with...im reaching out for some support... thank you for reading <3

...See more Not a day goes by when I don't miss her, or think about her. I'm so afraid of forgetting her that I'm not able to move on from the grief, from the pain. I tried to push myself but I realised that by remembering her, I feel the love that she made me feel. I don't really have anyone else in my family who loved me selflessly. And after she left, the void created and started growing. I realised how lonely I am. Even tho my parents were present, they never loved me selflessly. I know it's harsh to say but it's true. And then it was followed by a lot of abuse - physical, emotional, and mental. So whenever I miss her and cry profusely, I let myself go. I let it happen. Because I realised I don't cry just because I miss her, I also cry because I feel that love, that care, and I miss that so much. I hope and pray that every child is loved by their family because for someone who begged for love and respect from her parents, I know how painful it is to live a life where now the one person who loved you is also gone. I started finding that love within me. I'm trying to practise self love. After all, the only constant in our life, is us. Ourselves. I hope my grandma is proud of me because I sure always am proud of her 🎀

...See more Hey I'm 28F, and I just finished my Postgrad. Now I'm back at my parents' and my mental health is horrible. I'm on a self-awareness journey and I'm trying to be more expressive in life. I've always crippled under the pressure of being the perfect daughter (narcissist mother), and I always avoided to be my real self and wallk on egg shells around everyone. Now I'm being more open and making so many mistakes. I'm so anxious I feel so nauseous and falling more into depression. I guess I'm writing all this here to reach out. The city I'm in now, idk anyone here except family.
