...See more I grew up very very shy which was only made worse by being bullied for not speaking. To make it worse, when I did speak people made fun of me. This caused me to continue to not talk for half of high school. Now im still friends with people I went to highschool with. They know me as the shy girl even though ive overcome the shyness completely. Every time I speak in a higher pitched voice or something as simple as that I have a friend who would over react and made a big deal out of me doing something "unusual" or unlike me which everyone finds hilarious. Im scared to be myself because I know my friends will make fun of me for that. Even if i did something as normal as dancing at a party, id never hear the end of it from my friends. Im sick of coming across as this boring person who no one wants to invite on a night out. I want to be myself around my friends, I just dont know how to do it without shocking everyone. Does anyone have any tips?

Friends dont believe me

...See more Ive shared my story on here before. My best friend who promised to keep me safe sexually assaulted me while I was drunk and asleep about 2 years ago. Once I began to recover after the assult itself, I began to focus on other issues surrounding it. This person had been a huge part of my friend group. He was friends with everyone I knew. I had told my closest friends what had happened. Some comforted me while others called me a "lying bitch". At first I was glad at the comfort being given because at least they believed me, but then I began to wonder, if they really believed me why are they still friends with him? They say they love me and care about me then why do they listen to his rape jokes? Why do they listen to him with admiration on their faces when he talks about how hes "anti-rape"? Why do they validate what he did. If they dont believe me then fine, they can stay the hell away from me instead of pretending to care but if they believe me then thats much worse. That means they're ok with what he did. At this point im simply friends with them because they're all I have. I know they dont care about me because if someone ever touched anyone I cared about the way he touched me, they'd be dead. But it's better than being alone. I dont like letting new people into my life because i find it difficult to trust anyone so how am i supposed to make new friends. Any friends I meet are through my current friends. There's no escaping it because I live with one of them. I dont know what to do and I feel like im never going to escape what happened

...See more I spend all of my time in bed and I cant get myself to do any work. All aspects of my life are going badly. The person I love moved to the other side of the world and all I want is to be with them, im struggling to get my grades up to get into uni because I cant do work, my family is driving my crazy and I've lost almost all of my friends. Every so often it all hits me at once and the only way that I can see these problems going away is if I just die. I dont want to hurt the person that I love because he hates that he cant be there for me. I dont know what to do. I cant get myself to do anything that can help me. Ive been depressed for so long that my the only memories I have of being totally happy are when I was under the age of 11. I dont know how to be happy
