...See more I met my boyfriend in college, we've been dating for 7 years and have been living together for 5. I told him i wanted to get married but he said he wasn't going to think about until maybe another 5 years....5 years? I don't think i can wait that long. Especially since i already put in 7 years into this relationship. I've given him my all and yet i feel like im not a priority in his life, like my needs or wants aren't important. I feel like he only cares about what he's getting out of me more than he cares to offer. I've been thinking more and more about breaking up with him but I don't know how. It definitely doesn't take this long to figure out if you wanna be with someone forever or not. His actions speak louder that his words. Obviously im not THAT Important to him. I guess im not worth it. A part of me wants to help him figure out his answer while the other part of me would Rather find someone new and hopefully easier to date. Im very conflicted. How did i end up in this situation? I don't understand why he won't marry me and I can't stop being depressed about it. How do i get out of this? Should I try calling his mom or something?
