...See more Hello all. My name is Kayla and I have been living with Bipolar type 1 disorder for twelve years now, and somehow I am still surprised by it at times. Here lately I have found myself yet again dealing and coping with mixed episodes and I got to say this particular round has been brutal. I haven't experienced mixed episodes very often but during the last twelve years it has occasionally happened. I feel like my body will just rip in half when I get like this. Though the meds keep the episodes from taking me too far out there, it doesn't help much with the sensation of my skin crawling or my brain feeling like mush after being subjected to these episodes. Between the mind static and just exhaustion in general, it's been hard to put words together to form a sentence. I know better days are coming. They always do. But man I wish they'd come quicker, I just want to level out.
