...See more I used to be a huge social person. I then dated someone for two years who took up all my time and basically tore me down to the point to where I no longer felt like myself. I finally was able to leave the relationship and its been about three months yet I am afraid to be around anyone and have found myself trying to do like self dates and be around people even though I’m alone but even simple tasks like sitting down in a place to eat like I am now feels like the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I’m just worried that I’m going to shut myself off from the world.

...See more I was in a relationship for 2yrs where I had constantly had to change myself to fit some ideal image. My ex always said I did not have to change yet always told me the things she disliked about me but nothing she liked. It messed with me a lot to the point to where I could not love her because I could not love myself we broke up and I found out she sought emotional love through another person while with me that I was just the physical attention. After all this I find myself still angrier at myself wondering if I really just am not good enough for her or for myself.
