BED and Vyvanse

...See more Hi everyone, Im 27 years old and have struggled with BED for about 10 years. Last year I was put on Vyvanse but eventually it got out of control because I became addicted. I took 2-3x my daily dosage (50mg) and would crash into major depressive episodes when I ran out. I quit Vyvanse 9 months ago, realizing it was controlling my life. Fast forward to now and Ive gotten a new psychiatrist and therapist. Ive finally addressed my major underlying issue, depression. Im feeling great but my binge eating has come back. Ive tried every off-label med for it but none have worked out. My new doc wants to put me back on Vyvanse at a very low dose. Shes aware of my addiction last time and why I quit. Im worried I will become addicted again but also recognize that Im no longer depressed like last time and have the support of a weekly therapist. Anyone have any experience using Vyvanse for BED? What are your thoughts?
