Bio

I'm the overthinker, over-analyzer, and a tip-top worrier.  I've conquered many battles but put my "surrender" flag up numerous times.  If a mind can be a bunch of scribbles on a piece of paper, that's the mind I carry.

I'm a oil-painter that hasn't completed a piece in a year and would like to pick up where I left off.

I'm a Libra.  I like balance but my scales never even out.

TW - Medical Trauma

...See more TW -  Just in case....  I have past Medical Trauma.  A recent medical procedure experience deepened that trauma and my trust is very limited when it comes to medical staff.  I haven't ever met anyone that has dealt with this type of trauma before.  Regular therapy feels like I'm repeating my story when I really need someone to relate to.  It's tough.  Not the easiest type of trauma to understand.   I recently had a breast biopsy and expressed my past trauma anxiety and the need for being numb and having support.  3 staff members acknowledged but when the procedure began, the pain was so horrible I screamed for them to stop.  The response was "We only want to have to do this once."  They finished and I was shaking so bad afterward.  One nurse seemed to care and gave support.   I wrote a letter to that facility regarding their conduct and not a soul has acknowledged it.  No letter, no phone call, no email.  Nothing.  It's almost like they got what they wanted and disappeared.  I guess this is why people wait until the last minute to get care or never at all.  I relive this every day.  I lay in bed at night and think about it; my heart races and I just don't sleep well.   Thank you for allowing me to share.

...See more I have a stereotactic core biopsy of the breast today in about two hours and I am so afraid. I don’t do well with unexpected pain and I have reflexes that make me want to “get away” from what is hurting me. I have past medical trauma so my trust is low, I have a phobia of male doctors in my personal “zones.” Anything that makes me feel like someone else has control puts me into a panic. I just need some encouragement, please, friends. I also worried about results.
