I'm currently on break and won't be able to receive new messages. I hope to be back soon :)

Hi, I'm Oriya, nice to meet you 😊

*Honestly? I don't promise to be a perfect listener and always say the right word, but I promise to try to make you end the conversation feeling better.

*I would be happy if you tell me at the beginning of the conversation what you expect from this conversation. Do you want me to just listen or also ask questions? I'm with you in whatever you choose.

*I know basic English, sometimes I use a translator. I hope there will be no delays in answers. I try to respond as quickly as possible and appreciate your time.

And now you're probably wondering why I chose to be a listener at 7 Cups? :)

*I've been through a lot in my life. I don't remember almost a moment of silence. No, and I wouldn't say I've grown. I've become stronger. I truly believe that it's okay to say it's hard. It's okay not to think. It's okay to feel bad.

*I believe that every person deserves to be truly listened to, without judging him/her. Without advising him/her or correcting him/her. Without doubting him/her too much. Just let him/her choose the pace.

I am not a doctor. I am a person like you who is going through things and I want to do you a little good because if you feel good, I will feel good because of you.

The conversation with me is up to 60 minutes.

Suitable for topics: family stress, grief, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, domestic violence.

I am waiting to talk to you. Take your time without pressure. I am not judging you. I am proud of you for having the courage to come and share and hope we will have a good conversation together.❤

I really like constructive criticism so don't hesitate to give it. I really want to improve my listening skills. Thank you very much :)

Good intentions or silencing?

...See more I hate clichés that are said to a person in crisis Not because they are necessarily wrong or unhelpful, but because they have become slogans that are thrown around and sometimes used to silence people. The phrase "You are strong" also sometimes sounds like silencing to me. I know that it usually comes from good intentions, but the hidden message may be that it is most convenient for us not to break down. It is most convenient for us to shut up. And when they say "It will be fine," who can really guarantee that? Does anyone predict the future? Or maybe it is simply a way to reassure ourselves because we have nothing real to say in the face of another person's pain. I do believe in the power of positive thinking, but it should grow from within the person themselves, from the process they are going through, and not be something imposed on them from the outside. It's like telling a person who broke their leg, "Just stand up, believe that you can." Or telling them everything is good when they can't even walk. Does that really help them? Of course not. The phrase "It will be fine" also sometimes misses the point. Because those who are hurting now aren't looking for promises about the future. He needs someone to be with him in the pain of the present. Ultimately, it is important that we remember that we are human. And human beings are meant to feel. Every emotion, pain, anger, disappointment, fear or joy, is legitimate. It does not make us weak. It makes us human. So you are allowed to feel. You are allowed to cry. You are allowed to be angry. You are allowed to ask questions. Don't silence yourself so that others will be more comfortable. I hope the day comes when people feel free to simply be who they are in a society that listens before it answers, that includes before it preaches, and that understands that sometimes presence is worth much more than any slogan. (By the way, I think we all use them sometimes, haha, but I wish we would try to be instead of fixing, to really be present in the need of the other and not just in our own comfort.) Feel free to share with me what you think or experience here or in a private chat 💛

...See more The world loves sad people, as long as they are quietly sad. The world loves broken people, as long as they keep smiling. The world loves encouragement, as long as the encouragement doesn't require it to really listen. "It'll be okay." "Move forward." "Be strong." "Smile." As if pain is something to hide, and not something to go through. As if feeling is weakness, and as if pretending is bravery. But maybe strength is not smiling when it hurts. Maybe strength is admitting it hurts and moving on anyway. Maybe strength is not hiding the cracks, but understanding that they don't make us any less whole. And no, not everything is always okay. But everything doesn't have to be okay for us to keep growing.

...See more מרגיש קצת בודד?

...See more Do you also feel that no matter how much you explain, no one will understand you? That the nights have turned into days and the days into nights.. That the moment or period you hate the most comes back to you every day even though you just want to forget about it.. And the loneliness... And the feeling of guilt... And the fear.. And the pain that doesn't always get a place or a hug and support. And the shame... You know you went through something crazy that the soul couldn't contain and the nervous system has simply remained on alert ever since and feels that it is in danger and that doesn't mean anything bad about you. It's hard but normal for the abnormal thing you went through And in the midst of all this you are trying to survive, to exist, to live... You are simply fighting! You are fighting with your very choice to get up every day anew. You are fighting by trying even though it is difficult and sharing your story You are fighting by trying to smile after you wipe your tears. That you don't give up on yourself and yourself. There is no doubt that this struggle is difficult. But in the midst of this, remember that you are standing and you are brave! And your courage will bring healing at your own pace. You don't need to rush to get well, to function again, or to think positively. In fact, you don't need anything Just be who you are and look yourself in the eye with compassion and love because the one who understands you best is you! ❤❤❤🤞🤞🤞

...See more Hey you, how are you? Yes, you who are reading this right now ❤ I just wanted to tell you that if you are currently going through a difficult time and you are in pain.. You are normal and you are allowed to! You are allowed to feel pain! You are allowed to not think positively! You are allowed to feel that there is no hope You are allowed to feel that you have no strength You are allowed to feel exhausted\angry\sad. You don't have to be strong. You don't have to be okay all the time Just let yourself feel. Hug yourself and know that you are allowed to feel everything. Pain does not make you weak. Pain means that you have been strong for too long.... I hope better days come for you. Lots of support from here and hugs❤❤
