Speaking out

...See more A few days ago I made the courageous decision to speak out about a huge incident that happened in high school. I was sexually exposed to over 1,000 people (adults and minors) because two students at my school thought it would be funny. The school completely brushed it under the rug because of the popular people it could affect.(I went to a small school). The school didn’t even call my parents to talk to them, they did absolutely nothing on my part to figure out what happened. It’s been 11 years and I went public with it on Facebook just giving a brief over view so it wasn’t lengthy. The post that I made didn’t get the attention I hoped for and now I’m feeling very discouraged by coming out. The story didn’t get blown up like I thought it would and all it did was draw more hate towards me. I feel like people read what I wrote and said aww she just wants a pitty party today instead of oh wow I can’t believe the school staff did nothing maybe these people shouldn’t work with kids. Anyway a boost of confidence would be nice to have today I just don’t know how to calm down the thoughts in my mind, my soul is hurting too bad to keep feeling this way 😔

...See more How do you heal? Every day since I’ve left hasn’t gotten easier. There hasn’t been a moment where I could release or think of myself. It doesn’t make me sad any more, all I have is a horrible rage. I fear for my relationship with everyone around me including myself. I just wish I could say that fixing this hurt would make it all better but there’s too much.... it’s just all too much.
