...See more As a little girl I remember sitting in the passenger seat of my grandmas blue van, I could barely see over the dashboard, we pulled into a whataburger late at night and she ordered some food. It was very early in the morning definitely after 3 am…I’m not sure what we were doing and I’d ask if her I could but I can’t now. She drove me to my house after and laid with me, probably until I fell asleep. That’s one out of a lot of memories I had with her. She’s gone now, and all I hold is memories. I’ll miss her for the rest of my life.

...See more Silent voice Misunderstood or perhaps always confused So quiet and calm but always observant always told she’s shy but maybe she’s just not comfortable, misunderstood and always confused . She wants to be noticed but not the center of attention, she wants her voice to make a difference but not to cause problem.  She sits in the back seat in hopes her words get her recognition or maybe it’s not enough. She wants the approval she’s yearned all her adolescent years but she’s never rewarded. Hear the girl in the back seat she isn’t silent after all , she’s just misunderstood.
