Misunderstood or perhaps always confused

So quiet and calm but always observant always told she’s shy but maybe she’s just not comfortable, misunderstood and always confused . She wants to be noticed but not the center of attention, she wants her voice to make a difference but not to cause problem.  She sits in the back seat in hopes her words get her recognition or maybe it’s not enough. She wants the approval she’s yearned all her adolescent years but she’s never rewarded. Hear the girl in the back seat she isn’t silent after all , she’s just misunderstood.
